Terms & data licence
Last updated 3 October 2026
1. Who we are
UK Databases (ukdatabases.com) is a trading name of GetYa Marketing Management FZCO, registration DSO-FZCO-39103, IFZA Business Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, UAE ("we", "us"), registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under number ZC263749. You can reach us at support@ukdatabases.com.
These terms apply whenever you buy data from this website. We sell to businesses only — by ordering you confirm you are buying for a business, not as a consumer.
2. Orders and payment
- The count, price and what's included are shown before you pay. The price shown is the full price — no VAT or other charges are added.
- Prices are per record and depend on the size of your order (sliding smoothly from 15p down to 4p as the order gets bigger), plus any extras you choose. The minimum order is £5.
- Payment is taken by card through Stripe. Your order is accepted once payment is confirmed. Before delivery we screen every telephone number in your order against the TPS and Corporate TPS registers, then deliver your file to your login and by email within 24 hours (usually sooner). Orders without telephone numbers are delivered straight away.
- Records are chosen at random from everything matching your filters. We never include a record you have already bought from us on the same account.
- If fewer records are available than you paid for, you'll receive every matching record and we'll refund the difference.
3. Your data licence
Each order comes with a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the data for 12 months from delivery, for your own business-to-business marketing (telephone, email, post and similar), as often as you like during that time. You may:
- load the data into your own CRM, dialler or email platform;
- let your own staff, and contractors working on your behalf, use it for your campaigns;
- keep any record after the licence ends where that business has become your customer or has asked you to contact them.
You may not resell, rent, share or give away the data (in whole or part), use it to build a competing database, or use it for anything unlawful. When the licence ends you must stop using and delete the records you are not entitled to keep.
4. Using the data lawfully
You are responsible for how you use the data, including complying with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). In particular:
- Calls: every order is screened against the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) and Corporate Telephone Preference Service (CTPS) before delivery, but registrations change daily. Screen again before calling if you use the data more than 28 days after delivery, and keep your own do-not-call list.
- Email and text: you may email limited companies and LLPs without prior consent provided you identify yourself and give an easy way to opt out. Sole traders and partnerships are treated like individuals — you need their consent to email or text them.
- Opt-outs: honour every request not to be contacted promptly, and tell us if a business asks to be removed so we can suppress it.
- Decision maker mobiles (Premium): these are personal numbers supplied only where the person opted in to marketing, with their opt-in date and time, source URL, IP address and consent channels. Keep that opt-in record with the data, contact each person only by the channels they agreed to, say who you are, and stop as soon as they ask you to.
- Transparency: where you hold a named person's details (for example a director), tell them where you got their details within one month, or at your first contact.
5. Data quality
Our data is compiled from public registers such as Companies House, business websites and other lawful sources, and is checked and refreshed regularly. Businesses move and change, so we can't promise every record is accurate. If you find a significant number of faulty records, tell us within 14 days of delivery with examples and we'll look at it; where we agree records are faulty we'll replace them with new ones.
6. Cancellations and refunds
Because your file is delivered digitally, orders can't be cancelled once delivered. If you need to cancel before your file is delivered, email us straight away. This doesn't affect section 2 (short deliveries) or section 5 (faulty records).
7. Liability
We are not liable for any loss of profit, business or opportunity, or for any indirect loss, arising from your use of the data. Our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. General
We may update these terms; the version shown when you order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
